Selva: Logo, Photography, Signage, Web Site Design
Selva means jungle in Spanish. Given that this restaurant’s menu and clientele are a balanced cocktail of the wild and the sophisticated, I based its logo on the banana leaf. It is a form which is organic, but whose lines are soothing and controlled. I then used a simple detail of the leaf in order to heighten the sense of Selva’s artistic precision over its exotic ingredients.

Backstory:
When Selva's owner, Pablo Castro, returned to take over operations at this Sarasota hot spot, he had the insight to explore previous brand development projects. Under the former owner, I had created multiple options for Selva's branding. Pablo came across my banana leaf version and commissioned me to re-brand the restaurant via signage, website, menus, and advertising.
