My initial effort with XCPT was to create a logo which would suggest visual nature of the dental software it would represent. The company founder, Dr. Steven Feldman, wanted an upbeat logo, but one which would also be crisp and clinical enough to mesh with the highly-competitive market of the dental industry.

After establishing the abstracted eye emblem and incorporating it with typography, the next step was the development of various illustrations for the software interface. Using a range of reference  materials, I used Adobe Illustrator to create images  of teeth, dentures, crowns, implants, abutments, etc.The interface's toolbar icons were created with specialized bitmap graphic software.

The project continues  today with frequent updates to the software graphics, as well as  to the range of promotional mailings and and advertising.
