The recordings below are just fun stuff that I've done with friends and musicians. In most cases I am recording from my laptop either on-location, or right at home in my design studio.

David Landry

The artistic spirit of musician, and master tiki carver David Landry lives on in all those who knew him and who had a chance to see him transform life's everyday objects and surroundings into works of art.

The recordings here were done over various bonfire-lit evenings in David's beautiful  candle-lit, tiki-filled back yard.

These songs feature David's distinctive vocals and drumming on his "cluster" of multiple djembe drums bound together. The recordings also feature me and Germaine Delainey.

Be sure to scroll down (on right-hand side of player) to hear all 8 recordings.

Chris Fontanero

¿Dónde Andabas Tú?
Chris Fontanero, Guitar
Max Kelly, Bongos & Vocals

Recorded on my phone at Chris' Crib

I just got back from an amazing week of hanging out with my old buddy(we go all the way back to 4th grade) in his stylin’ craftsman-era Seattle bungalo!

On my first day in town Chris bought a brand new guitar and then just busted out a beautiful cuban-style chord progression. I jumped on the bongos, threw in a little vocal, jammed on it a few times, pressed Record on my phone, and BOOM! It’s guajira time, baby!

Flute Jam
David Koplovic, Flute & Shaker

Recorded at my home/studio

Dave came by the house one day with his flute and we decided to lay down a track. We used a bass drum loop as the foundation, and then just jammed on that. Check it out!

Rough & Live Cell Phone Recording!

Recorded at Last Call Tavern
Bradenton, Forida
October, 2009

I just recently started playing a bit with Mitch Clark and Mark Skey, two wicked-talented guitarist/vocalists here in the Sarasota-Bradenton area.

On this version of The Thrill Is Gone, we got amazing vocal assistance from pool hall patron Cluedette.

Check out Mitch's regular line up–
